Non-profit organization Les EssentiElles is created in Yukon

The group represents the interests of French-speaking women in Yukon.

Les EssentiElles actively works to improve the quality of life of French-speaking women and respond to their needs.

Its vision is for “French-speaking women in the Yukon [to] meet their full potential, participate fully in the Yukon society and have access to programs and services that meet their needs.

The organization’s logo, designed by Franco-Yukonnaise artist Nathalie Parenteau, depicts a stylized fleur-de-lis (for the French-speaking community) and wild rose (a flower native to Yukon). The top part represents a flame spreading its energy and expresses the group’s vitality.
