Katherine d’Entremont is appointed as second Commissioner of Official Languages for New Brunswick

Ms. d’Entremont served as Commissioner of Official Languages for New Brunswick from 2013 to 2018.

As an independent agent of the Legislative Assembly, her role is to investigate, report on and make recommendations with regard to compliance with New Brunswick’s Official Languages Act. She was also responsible for promoting the advancement of both official languages in the province.

Originally from Moncton, Commissioner d’Entremont grew up in a bilingual and bicultural family. Through her personal and professional life, she acquired a thorough appreciation of New Brunswick’s two official language communities.
