A French language health services network takes root in Alberta

Through an agreement with the Association canadienne-française de l’Alberta, Alberta’s Francophone community gives the Réseau santé albertain a mandate to develop the delivery of French language health services in the province.

The objective of the Réseau santé albertain is to ensure that Franco-Albertans receive the best possible health care in their language. To achieve this, the Réseau advocates, assists, promotes and communicates with key partners and with Alberta’s French-speaking population.

The Réseau is one of 16 networks that make up the Société Santé en français, which helps its partners coordinate the planning and organization of French-language health services for Canada’s Francophone minority communities.
