A French language health services network is created in Newfoundland and Labrador
The Réseau santé en français de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador brings together key partners in Newfoundland and Labrador’s health care system to ensure access to French language health services for the province’s Francophone and Acadian communities.
The Réseau was created under the Fédération des francophones de Terre-Neuve et du Labrador. Its goal is to effect progress on the delivery of French language health care services in order to improve the health of Franco-Newfoundlanders and Labradorians and to contribute to the overall long-term development of the province’s Francophone and Acadian communities.
The Réseau is one of 16 networks that make up the Société Santé en français, which helps its partners coordinate the planning and organization of French-language health services for Canada’s Francophone minority communities.
